Events, people, places, even memories may pop up unexpectedly and throw us off balance. Sometimes, we may even be left questioning our value or worth. In order to remember our worth in those times, do these three things.
Do NOT compare yourself to others!
We've heard the phrase "Comparison is the thief of joy." It holds a high level of truth. Don't compare your current status with that of someone else. You don't know the behind-the-scenes of their status, nor what it took to get to that point.
Always show gratitude
Find ways to remain grateful for everything. Gratitude journals, blessings jars, etc. These methods can also help you practice seeing yourself as the worth-full individual that you are!
Jazz yourself up!
Use a quote, a poem, a meme, a song, or even a mantra to pump yourself up!
